Achievements (Aug-Sept 2024)

Pagadian City Science High School celebrated its 14th Founding Anniversary with a culminating program that included the symbolic Turnover of the PagSci-SSLG Key of Responsibility. Dr. Crestina T. Parot officially handed over leadership to the newly elected officers, marking a new chapter in student governance. The event highlighted PagSci’s legacy of academic excellence and leadership, with students and faculty looking forward to the school's continued success.

September 30, 2024

Pagadian City Science High School, in collaboration with the PagSci-SSLG, conducted Mr. & Ms. PagSci 2024, where various candidates from each grade level vied for the top spot, displaying not just physical beauty, but also emotional intelligence and inner talents. The candidates competed in categories such as the Production Number performance, Voice of Excellence video campaign, and the presentation of various attire, such as Sports Wear, Formal Wear and School Uniform. 

September 27, 2024

PagSci alums, together with the pioneering teachers of the institution, celebrated the 14th Founding Anniversary of PagSci. They reminisced, held hands, and shared warm hugs through friendship, love for one another, and the bonds formed in the halls of PagSci. As they discussed their current lives, they fondly recalled the experiences that shaped who they are today.  PagSci Alumni Reconnect also featured the debut of PagSci band, "CRAMberries," a talented group of young students who entertained the alumni. Alumni left the school filled with nostalgia and excitement for their next reunion in 2025.

September 24, 2024

The PagSci-SSLG welcomed new students and transferees ("Freshies") with the annual celebration of Freshies Week for S.Y. 2024-2025. The organization made history by making the event a week-long celebration for the first time. New PagScians were warmly welcomed through the PagSci Spirit Rites with fun activities such as Banner Making, Amazing Race, and Firehose Bathing. The event left a lasting positive impression on not just Freshies, but old students as well.

September 11-13, 2024

The PagSci General Assembly, consisting of all homeroom officers, and the PagSci Coordinating Council, composed of all club and organization officers, convened for a joint meeting at the PagSci Covered Court. Through parliamentary procedure, various important agenda was discussed for the future of the institution, such as orientations on the PagSci Handbook, the various resolutions of the PagSci-SSLG since S.Y. 2023-2024 and status reports from all national-level SSLG officers. The event ended with all officers empowered to serve in the spirit of public service and volunteerism. 

September 4-5, 2024

PagSci-COMELEC, with assistance from the PagSci-SSLG, facilitated the Miting de Avance and the Grade 7 Representative Elections for S.Y. 2024-2025. These events allowed every Grade 7 candidate to step up towards the stage and spread their platforms to the student body, and it also allowed every student to practice their right to vote for a future that shall allow PagSci to Soar Ever Higher. The event concluded with the election of the current Grade 7 Representative, Yzekeiah M. Pamat, ushering in a new era of change and leadership.

August 13, 2024 

Noong Agosto, ipinagdiwang ng PagSci ang Buwan ng Wika 2024, na may temang "Filipino: Wikang Mapagpalaya", na nagbigay-diin sa  ating pambansang wika bilang simbolo ng ating kalayaan. Naganap ang mga patimpalak tulad ng Pagsulat ng Tula at Pagsulat ng Sanaysay para sa pagdiriwang ngayong buwan. Tinapos ng mga mag-aaral ang buwan na may higit na pagpapahalaga sa ating wika.
